Overview:
Aggregates Producer seeks a Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of quarry operations.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective implementation of the ARC-100 Safety Initiative / Program
- Total Plant Employees: 60 / Total direct reports to the Plant Manager: 6
- Plan and direct the daily operations of an underground hard rock quarry
- Leadership and development of employees (performance management, hiring, firing, supervision, training)
- Work closely with Sales and Quality teams
- Participate in the creation of the Annual Budget and ongoing CAPEX plan
- Provide monthly cost and production forecasts
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of Management Experience
- Underground Mining Experience a Plus
- Proven Ability to Work Effectively and Professionally with MSHA Inspectors, Environmental Regulatory Agencies and Other Relevant Governmental Agencies
- Supervisor Experience Required
- Proficient Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Particularly Excel
