Overview:
To provide cost estimates for the demolition of commercial and municipality buildings by analyzing proposals and requirements and/or physically visiting site to confirm existing conditions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience bidding and managing turnkey demolition contracts
- Meet with clients and project teams to get a complete understanding of the scope of work to be priced
- Develop detailed and accurate take-offs of the work from the contractual plans
- Confer with customers, subcontractors or supervising personnel in order to address questions and problems
- Understands the scope of work involving demolition, including interior demo, hard demo, saw cutting, and concrete coring
- Comprehends all project specifications, scope limits, and project constraints and able to incorporate the information into the pricing
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast- paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
