Overview:
The focus of this position is to estimate the cost of a demolition project by diligently working with blueprints and other data to predict the cost of labor based on the construction of the building. You will be required to build/maintain relationships and work closely within established guidelines. There will be many different people to meet and work with each day. This client specializes with demolition both selective and structural of large/complex industrial and railroad dismantles around the nation.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers Proposals, Blueprints and Specification for Work to be Estimated
- Cost Analysis for Labor, Material and Time
- Build and Maintain Data Base for Cost Analysis
- Identifies Time Requirements, Labor and Material using Proposals, Blueprints and Specifications
- Manage Multiple Projects with Firm Deadlines
- Specialized View on Problem Resolution by Collecting and Analyzing Information
- Ability to Interpret Project Specifications, Drawings and Contracts
Requirements:
- Heavy Travel Throughout the United States
- Disciplined with Precise Analytical Skills
- Unambiguous Work Direction, Completing Task from Start to Finish with Concern for getting Work Done on Time and Correctly
