Overview:
A Leading Metals Recycling Company seeks a seasoned Shredder Manager for the Midwestern Operations. The Shredder Manager is responsible for all Production, Safety & Maintenance related activities within the Shredder Operation.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing a Comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program
- Supervising all Shredder Yard Personnel & Maintaining Equipment
- Set Production & Maintenance Schedules with Other Facility Supervisors
- Responsible for Production Volumes, Efficiency & Operating Costs
- Set Monthly Goals & Guidelines for Operations Using Metrics to Measure Performance & Quality
- Responsible for Tracking/Maintaining Records Associated with the Maintenance & Production of Shredder
The Shredder Manager should also possess knowledge of machines & tools including their designs, uses, repair & maintenance, as well as knowledge of raw material, production process, quality control of finished goods, and techniques for maximizing operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 5+ Years Metals Recycling Industry Shredder Operations Experience
- 3+ Years Shredder Management Experience
- Knowledgeable in Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance, Hands-on Shredder Maintenance Experience
- Exceptional Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Skills
- Ability to Work under Pressure in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Valid Driver’s License
