Overview:
Ready Mix company is seeking a Director of Fleet Maintenance to lead, train, direct and counsel field service teams.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to dealer and customer concerns and coordinate resolution.
- Manage both companies to ensure we continually improve our first response and final resolution.
- Negotiate successfully to protect the company’s interests while providing issue resolution, budget management and customer satisfaction.
- Drives company to provide customer satisfaction ranking as best in class.
- Knows the competition and knows how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
- Monitor product concerns to ensure correct reporting and solutions.
- Ensure Corporate programs and initiatives are followed thru with the field service team.
- Build strong relationships with the most significant regional fleets and dealers.
- Promote corporate system improvements to drive dealer operating standards compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies.
- Establish expense budgets and manage department performance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Five years of experience in fleet maintenance or repair with two years in a supervisory role required.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of fleet management and operations.
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
