Join a highly successful Midwest Ready Mix producer that has established a strong reputation in the industry. Seeking an experienced Vice President/General Manager to lead our growing Ready-Mix Division. This is an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence and strategic growth.
Position Overview:
The VP/GM will report directly to the President and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Ready Mix Division. This includes managing operations, optimizing production processes, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Ready Mix Division to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow market share and improve profitability.
- Oversee production operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for the division.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a high-performance culture.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the ready mix or construction materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.

- Willingness to travel as needed.
