Overview:
A heavy highway construction company, is seeking a Project Manager for their growing operations in the Northeast. The selected candidate will be responsible for contract management, project scheduling, change orders, invoicing, resource allocation and coordination, estimating and material pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Assigned Projects from Start to Finish
- Develop and Maintain the Project CMP Schedule
- Coordinate and Direct Construction Workers and Subcontractors
- Thoroughly Process Submittals and Shop Drawings
- Negotiate Terms of Agreements and Obtain Permits
- Negotiate Material Purchase and Subcontracts
- Interact with the Owner, Engineer, Suppliers and Subcontractors
- Develop and Manage Project Documentation
- Manage Invoicing and Change Orders
- Plan Ahead to Prevent Problems and Resolve any Emerging Ones
- Analyze, Manage and Mitigate Risks
- Ensure Quality Construction Standards and the Use of Proper Construction Techniques
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ Years Heavy Highway Construction Management Experience
- Working Knowledge of Construction Means & Methods
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & Scheduling Software
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bid2Win & Foundation a Plus
- Ability to Work with a Team to Complete Projects within Stated Deadlines
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
