Overview:
Western Steel Manufacturer is seeking Process Engineers for their Mill & Finishing Operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in the Steel & Metals Industry with experience in Reheat Furnaces, Rolling Mill Operations, Heat Treating or Welding.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the Commissioning & Start-up of New Mill Operations
- Establish Process Performance Parameters
- Factory Acceptance Testing for New Equipment
- Supports the Development of Operations
- Collaborates with Metallurgy Lab for Product Testing & Analysis
- Evaluates Processes & Identifies Opportunities for Improvement
- Daily KPI Reporting
- Data Analysis for Process Performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Material Sciences
- 2+ years Steel Mill or Manufacturing Experience
- Experience Writing Technical Reports
- Six Sigma Certification a PLUS
