Overview:
Midwestern Steel Mill is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Automation to provide Technical Support for Special Projects and Engineering Activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manages CAPEX Projects for Automation, Controls & Electrical Equipment
- Executes Projects On-Time & On Budget
- Coordinates Commissioning & Installation for New Plant Equipment
- Collaborates with Engineering, Operations & Maintenance Teams
- Establishes Procedures for New & Existing Projects
- Improves Automaton Systems through PLC Programming, HMI Development & Interface Modifications
- Provides Troubleshooting Assistance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Automation Engineering
- 5+ Years Rolling Mill Automation & Controls Experience
- Experience with Level 1 Systems & Level 2 Integrations & Industry 4.0
- Solid Under of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Concepts
