Overview:
Midwestern Steel Manufacturer is in need of a Technical Services Engineer to Communicate with Customers regarding Product Application & Quality.
Responsibilities:
- Visits Customer Facilities to Provide Technical Support in Material Selection & Resolve Quality Issues
- Conducts Investigations on Non-Conforming Product Issues & Coordinates Resolution/Corrective Action
- Uses Acquired Data & Analysis for Product & Process Decision-Making
- Works Directly with Quality Systems & Uses ISO Quality System as an Effective Management Tool
- Assesses Claims / Quality Issues & Makes Decision on Claim Acceptance or Denial
- Collaborates with Sales Team to Manage Customer Relations
- Leads New Products or Application Activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy or Material Science
- 5+ Years Steel Industry Experience
- Knowledgeable of Quality Systems
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
