Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Ready Mix Sales Representative to join our team in the Chicago suburbs. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial concrete contractors. The ideal candidate will bring proven industry knowledge, sales experience, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with concrete contractors across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
- Generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts through consultative selling and solution-based strategies.
- Prepare and present quotes, bids, and product recommendations that align with project needs.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and operations team to ensure seamless project execution, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Track sales activity, market trends, and competitor performance to provide actionable insights.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, job sites, and industry events to promote products and services.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the Ready Mix Concrete industry (required).
- Strong understanding of Ready Mix products, applications, and contractor needs.
- Proven ability to build relationships and deliver results in a competitive sales environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
