Overview:
Reputable Producer of Specialty Alloy is looking for a motivated individual to join a growing team in the role of Quality Control Manager in PA.
Markets such as: Aerospace, Power generation, Nuclear forging, Military and more
Requirements:
- BS Engineering or related work experience
- Administer all corporate Quality Systems
- Manage the Corrective Action, Customer Complaint, and Calibration systems / Approve testing invoices from outside test labs.
- Discuss and resolve issues discovered by Quality Control Technicians on Material Certification
- Reports and Certificates of Quality Conformance / Determine disposition of nonconforming material, either solely or in conjunction with other supervisors.
- Writes and edits policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
- Comply with other quality or production related directives from management.
- Capable of validating heat analyses.
Required Knowledge – Must have working knowledge and/or experience with:
- Quality Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001).
- AOD and VAR.
- General knowledge of the steel manufacturing process.
- Process and systems audits.
- Engineering or Related Industry Experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Must be able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
