Overview:
The Ready Mix Sales Manager will lead all sales efforts across 10+ ready mix concrete plants in the Dallas–Fort Worth market with a clear mandate to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen competitive positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a market-driven sales strategy to grow volume and increase market share across DFW
- Identify and penetrate high-growth segments including commercial, infrastructure, and large residential projects
- Manage and expand strategic key accounts, including major contractors and developers
- Drive disciplined yet competitive pricing strategies to maximize margin while winning targeted work
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of sales representatives to aggressive growth targets
- Prospect and secure new business through relationship development and strategic bidding
- Monitor competitive activity and adjust strategy to maintain market advantage
- Partner with operations to ensure production capacity, service levels, and customer satisfaction support growth objectives
- Track performance metrics (volume, revenue, margin, market penetration) and implement corrective action as needed
Requirements:
- Proven success growing sales and market share in the ready mix or construction materials industry
- Strong relationships within the DFW construction market
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex accounts
- Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and leadership skills
