This role supports the development and continuous improvement of specialty steel products by coordinating trials, analyzing cost and performance, and collaborating with Operations, Technical, Quality, and Commercial teams. The position provides metallurgical and process control expertise to improve product quality, efficiency, and customer value.
Main Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
- Coordinate product development trials from planning through performance review and follow-up.
- Lead development meetings and coordinate related activities, documentation, and action items.
- Analyze product cost, quality, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support trials and resolve metallurgical or process issues.
- Provide technical support and training in metallurgy, steel processing, and process control.
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on product quality, manufacturing performance, and customer value.
- Follow company safety, quality, environmental, and operational requirements.
