Overview:
A growing asphalt paving contractor and producer is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee three paving crews and two milling crews. Reporting directly to the Vice President, this individual will coordinate daily field operations, manage schedules and personnel, maintain production and quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of asphalt paving experience
- Proven experience supervising multiple paving and milling crews
- Strong understanding of county, municipal, state, and DOT paving projects
- Thorough knowledge of asphalt paving, milling, grading, compaction, and quality-control procedures
- Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage personnel, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and daily production
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and profitability
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned market
