Overview:
An established ready mix concrete producer is seeking a Dispatch Manager to lead its dispatch team. This position will oversee delivery scheduling, support strong customer relationships, and coordinate with operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely service.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, train, and develop dispatchers and customer service staff.
- Oversee order entry, delivery scheduling, and truck assignments.
- Coordinate with plant managers, drivers, sales, and quality control to meet customer needs.
- Resolve customer concerns and communicate delivery updates and schedule changes.
- Monitor delivery performance, fleet utilization, and order accuracy to improve efficiency.
- Adjust schedules to address changing demand, weather, equipment availability, and jobsite delays.
Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years of ready mix dispatch experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with familiarity with dispatch software and concrete delivery operations.
