Seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating and bid preparation for asphalt paving and roadway projects valued at $5 million – $20 million.
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracted work.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Assess site conditions, production requirements, and project risks to prepare accurate, competitive bids.
- Coordinate with operations and project managers on scheduling, budgets, and project handoffs.
Candidates should have strong asphalt paving and roadway estimating experience, a solid understanding of construction costs and production rates, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
