Overview:
Asphalt equipment manufacturing business is looking for a Director of Operations. Duties include oversight and coordination of all managers, supervisors, and departments which include the sales team, shop superintendent, project manager, shop, electrical department, drafting, office staff, and accounting. Candidates for this position must have good leadership, team motivation, and time management skills.
As the individual responsible for the profitability and growth of the company, you must be able to read financial statements (profit/loss and balance sheets), prepare and maintain appropriate production records for timely reports, and envision the projected outcomes of these reports. This position will report to the current President and coordinate between sales and production while exploring new initiatives for production practices to keep jobs on track for swift completion as well as meet cost, quality, and quantity specifications. The ability to maintain good relations with worldwide customers and employees in Texas is a must.

- Experience in addressing issues, making decisions, and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
Bonus Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of asphalt manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with or understanding of liquid asphalt mixing and additives.
