Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in asphalt paving and heavy highway construction to lead and oversee infrastructure projects across South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project execution—from planning and budgeting to scheduling and on-site coordination—ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple asphalt paving and heavy highway construction projects from pre-construction to closeout
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Lead project teams, subcontractors, and field staff to ensure quality and safety standards
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience in asphalt paving and/or heavy highway construction
- Proven ability to manage DOT or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
