Overview:
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the plant’s maintenance planning and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise employees in the maintenance department.
- Interview for maintenance positions.
- Ensure operational efficiency of the mechanical and electrical systems through timely inspections and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and Company safety regulations and standards.
- Reviewing, approving and prioritizing work requests for mechanical/electrical repairs and all safety and work permits
- Troubleshoot and repair any piece of machinery to ensure it works properly and is safe for employees to use.
- Planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance projects and programs.
- Successfully leads a technical team – mentoring, coaching and leading.
- Participates in performance discussions and corrective action.
- Preferred experience with slurry equipment, conveyors, drying and screening.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience with 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role with exhibiting progressive leadership.
- Mining and/or oilfield experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Electrical experience a must.
