Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our team, specializing in site development projects ranging from small residential lots to 170-acre sites. This role is strictly focused on estimating—no project management duties required. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates using AGTEK for takeoffs and HCSS HeavyBid for bid preparation. Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for site development projects
- Analyze civil plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports
- Develop detailed proposals and bid packages using HCSS HeavyBid
- Utilize AGTEK for earthwork modeling and sitework takeoffs
- Collaborate with preconstruction team to review and refine estimates
- Communicate scope and clarifications with internal teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Civil Estimator
- Proficient in AGTEK and HCSS HeavyBid
- Strong understanding of site development, grading, earthwork, and utilities
- Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and specs
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- No project management responsibilities required for this position
