Our client, a leading Commercial, Municipal, and County Paving Contractor with annual revenues exceeding $225 million, is seeking an accomplished Vice President / COO to oversee all aspects of operations, drive strategic growth, and ensure excellence in project delivery.
This high-impact role will work closely with the President & CEO and will have a clear path to the President/CEO position within 3–5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple operational divisions to achieve performance, safety, and quality goals.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to support growth and profitability.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and industry partners.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in heavy civil construction, preferably in paving.
- Proven track record of operational excellence and strategic leadership.
- Strong financial and business acumen with P&L responsibility.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
