Overview:
The Project Manager oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed safely, within time and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and defining the scope of assigned projects
- project drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
- planning of safety, crew, equipment, plant, quality control, inventory, and compliance
- Attend meetings / Facilitate internal pre-activity project meeting
- Oversight of sub contractor’s activities
- Managing and coordinating one or more projects at a time
- Project scheduling, productivity, awareness, and cost control
- Monitoring and reporting job progress daily/weekly
- Reviewing weekly job cost reports
- Commitment to the safety of employees and public
Requirements:
- 10 years’ experience within the road construction industry
- 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory position (Asphalt Paving Superintendent or Foreman)
- Knowledge of road construction methods, materials, and industry requirements
- strong work ethic with integrity and commitment to compliance
- Valid driver’s license
