Overview:
Leading AISC Steel Fabricator Seeks a QC Inspector to Assist the Fabrication Team with Final Inspection of Fabricated Steel.
Responsibilities:
- Daily inspections of fabricated steel in an AISC certified facility fabricating Structural Steel
- Address & document non-conformances
- Inspect fabricated material to ensure conformance with the shop drawings
- Inspect the dimensional layout & placement of parts
- Perform both in-process & final inspections
- Participate AISC QC Audits
- Demonstrate accuracy & thoroughness in inspection of fabricated material
- Develop goals in order to improve & promote quality
- Work well with production to solve rising issues
Requirements:
- 5+ Years Steel Fabrication Industry Experience
- Ability to read & understand fabrication & construction drawings
- Welding Certification in D 1.1 a plus
