Overview
The Fleet Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing mobile equipment maintenance, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency across plant and mining operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise mechanics and technicians in daily maintenance activities.
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Oversee parts inventory, service schedules, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA safety standards.
- Track maintenance costs and prepare performance reports.
- Coordinate with plant leadership to align fleet availability with production goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; technical certification or degree preferred.
- 7+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with maintenance systems and Microsoft Office.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
