Overview
The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, and team leadership, to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily plant operations and production performance.
- Lead, train, and mentor supervisory and operational staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Monitor equipment performance, fuel usage, and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with maintenance and project teams on work orders and capital improvements.
- Prepare and review budgets, reports, and operational data for senior leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in mining, aggregates, or heavy industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of plant processes, equipment, and production systems.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education or technical training preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
