Overview:
This role oversees financial reporting, performance analysis, capital support, and financial modeling to support operations, M&A, and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the financial structure, performance evaluation criteria and analytical foundation of the business, supporting investment decisions, growth initiatives, and operational performance through robust financial modeling, reporting, and strategic analysis.
- Develop aggregates accounting structure (P&L, KPIs etc.).
- Support M&A modeling and investment decisions.
- Provide decision support for commercial and operations teams.
- Deliver strategic and financial analysis to leadership.
- Partner with CEO in detailed business plan development.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive increase in Finance responsibility in the Aggregates / construction materials industry with a track record of driving long-term results in mine safety, operational efficiency and cost.
- Experience or understanding with HR is a plus, e.g. benefits/admin.
- Ability to converse in Spanish is a plus.
- Education, bachelor’s in accounting/finance (CPA a plus) and MBA a plus.
