Overview:
The Director of Maintenance will be responsible for all plants maintenance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and procedures to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Oversee the scheduling and completion of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Manage and lead maintenance teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, control expenditures, and ensure cost-effective practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions.
- Analyze maintenance data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and service providers.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance operations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or 10 years directly related experience.
- Mining experience is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of Maintenance Management experience in a large, multi-faceted organization
- Proven experience in a senior maintenance management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
