Overview:
The project Manager will lead, plan and execute capital projects across quarries, aggregate facilities, and asphalt plants, including mine layout, material flow design, and construction of production and loadout.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets, monitor capital spending, and prepare clear monthly cost and progress reports for senior leadership.
- Drive upgrades to crushing, screening, conveying, and asphalt production systems to increase reliability, throughput, and overall plant efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, plant management, procurement, contractors, and equipment vendors to ensure alignment and timely project delivery.
- Establish and maintain rigorous document control practices for drawings, specifications, and change tracking, while capturing lessons learned for future capital projects.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of quarry operations, aggregate processing equipment (crushers, screens, conveyors), asphalt plant systems, and relevant environmental or geotechnical requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Proven proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and leading complex capital projects in operational environments.
- Ability to clearly present technical information, project risks, and financial impacts to executive leadership.
