Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Ready Mix Sales Representative to join our team in Illinois. This individual will be responsible for building strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial concrete contractors, driving sales growth, and delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Ready Mix Concrete sales experience and the ambition to grow into a leadership role. This position offers a clear path to Sales Manager within 3–5 years, based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial concrete contractors.
- Drive new business opportunities and grow existing accounts through consultative sales strategies.
- Prepare bids, quotes, and proposals that meet customer and project requirements.
- Partner with the Sales Manager and operations team to ensure timely delivery, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to maximize sales opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals while demonstrating leadership potential.
- Represent the company at job sites, industry events, and customer meetings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Ready Mix Concrete sales experience (required).
- Strong knowledge of Ready Mix Concrete products, applications, and customer requirements.
- Proven ability to grow accounts and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within the territory.
