Overview:
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for building and operating a safe, environmentally complaint, efficient platform. This position will also lead day-to-day quarry, plant, year and port operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safety and environmental performance.
- Plant, port, and logistics design and execution.
- Operational results and cost efficiency.
- Quarry, plant, yard, and port leadership.
- Operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Capital management for operational assets.
- Establish plant and operational KPIs.
- Build and lead plant operating teams.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive increase in operational responsibility in the Aggregates Industry with a track record of driving long-term results in safety, operational efficiency and cost.
- Experience coordinating the design, construction and commissioning of new plants.
- Remote Distribution experience is a plus.
- Ability to converse in Spanish is a plus.
- Education, bachelor’s in engineering is a plus.
