Overview:
A commercial paving contractor is seeking an experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead daily crew operations on paving, resurfacing, and parking lot repair projects. This role requires a dependable leader who keeps work safe, productive, and on schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct paving crews, assign daily tasks, and coordinate site setup and traffic control.
- Oversee asphalt placement, compaction, and operation of pavers, rollers, and related equipment.
- Ensure work meets project plans, grades, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, truck drivers, and subcontractors.
- Lead safety briefings, resolve field issues, and maintain daily reports and crew timecards.
Candidates must have 3+ years of asphalt paving experience, strong crew leadership skills, and knowledge of paving methods, materials, and equipment. Ability to read plans and grades is required.
