Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee field paving operations. This position will lead foremen and crews, coordinate resources, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily asphalt paving operations, crew assignments, and scheduling.
- Lead and develop foremen, equipment operators, and paving crews.
- Coordinate asphalt deliveries, trucking, and equipment with plant personnel and project managers.
- Monitor paving quality, production rates, and job costs.
- Review project plans and specifications, resolve field issues, and maintain project schedules.
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and coordinate equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in asphalt paving.
- Strong knowledge of paving equipment, installation methods, and quality requirements.
- Ability to lead crews, coordinate resources, and manage multiple project priorities.
