Overview:
The Asphalt Plant Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of the asphalt plant, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high safety standards, and meeting production goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in asphalt production, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Plant Operations: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the asphalt plant, including production, maintenance, and quality control.
- Staff Management: Supervise and mentor plant staff, including operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel. Schedule shifts and manage workloads to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of asphalt products to meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications. Implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintenance: Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products. Ensure timely procurement and efficient use of resources.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, production metrics, and safety incidents to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- 5+ Years Asphalt Plant Operator / Plant Foreman / Plant Manager Experience
- Well Versed with Operations and Maintenance of an Asphalt Plant
- Strong Leadership Qualities
- Hands-on Manager
