Overview:
A Leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Asphalt products in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an experienced Asphalt Lab Tech to perform product QA/QC testing of asphalt products (Performance Graded Asphalts, and Asphalt Emulsions).
Responsibilities / Requirements:
- This work includes executing (AASHTO, ASTM and State agency) approved laboratory procedures / must be proficient at multi-tasking.
- This position requires the successful candidate to work alone and interact with the plant operators and management staff.
- Document and report test results in accordance with company procedures. Records lab test results in the lab databases, Microsoft word and excel formats.
- QA/QC Laboratory Maintenance and Health and Safety Compliance.
- The candidate receives direction from local Plant Manager and Technical Director.
- Full time position. Medical benefits after 90 days of employment. Vacation/Sick leave pay, yearly bonus.
- Prefer a science degree, or experience in Quality Control Testing. Hourly compensation based on experience.
