We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Marketing Manager to support sales growth and expand market share throughout the Midwest region. This role will be responsible for developing and strengthening customer relationships, promoting product applications, and identifying new business opportunities within targeted markets.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of strategic marketing, business development, and customer-facing sales experience, with the ability to effectively communicate product value and application solutions to a diverse customer base. This individual will work closely with internal commercial and technical teams to support regional growth initiatives and enhance overall customer engagement.
This position does not have direct reports but requires strong collaboration, influence, and relationship management skills across multiple stakeholders and customer groups. Moderate travel throughout the Midwest region is expected to support customer visits, industry events, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive regional growth initiatives focused on increasing market share and expanding customer relationships across the Midwest territory.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Promote product applications and solutions by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical, and operations teams to support strategic growth objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities, customer trends, and competitive insights.
- Support product positioning, promotional activities, trade shows, and customer presentations within the region.
- Serve as a key commercial contact for customers by providing responsive communication and solution-oriented support.
- Assist in developing regional sales strategies and marketing initiatives to drive long-term business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience in sales, marketing, business development, or account management within an industrial, manufacturing, technical, or B2B environment.
- Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels.
- Experience promoting technical products, product applications, or solution-based selling is highly preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Midwest region as needed.
