Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Asphalt Plant Foreman to manage the daily operations of an asphalt production facility in South Carolina. This role includes overseeing plant performance, maintenance, and personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality asphalt production. For the right candidate, this position offers a clear path to grow into a multi-plant operations leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control
- Manage plant personnel and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations
- Monitor material inventory, equipment functionality, and production output
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
- Work closely with paving crews, dispatch, and management to meet project demands
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in asphalt plant operations or a related supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of asphalt production processes and equipment
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Familiarity with DOT specifications and safety standards
