Overview:
A family-owned manufacturing company is looking for a Director of Operations to manage their asphalt equipment division. This role involves supervising and coordinating the efforts of all managers, supervisors, and departments, including the shop superintendent, project manager, shop, electrical department, drafting team, office staff, and accounting. Ideal candidates should possess strong leadership, team motivation, and time management skills.
As the key person responsible for the company’s profitability and growth, you must be adept at interpreting financial statements (profit and loss statements, balance sheets), maintaining accurate production records for timely reporting, and forecasting based on these reports. You will report directly to the President and will be responsible for coordinating between sales and production, exploring new production practices, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently while meeting cost, quality, and quantity standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with global customers and employees in Texas is essential.

Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of asphalt manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with or understanding of related industry practices.
