Overview:
The Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used by the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages all maintenance activities at multiple shop facility locations.
- Lead the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment, fuel and related items.
- Direct performance evaluations of equipment and use that are timely and communicate with the executive team to create action plans.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicate with divisional leadership on equipment needs, place equipment requests
- Manage repairs with shop managers and mechanics
- Document Equipment repairs
- Supervise and Manage Equipment and vehicle inspections
- Track equipment & reconcile equipment utilization
- Schedule Repairs when necessary
- Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations
- Maintain fuel usage information and new cards
- Manage registrations, first time and renewals, either through third party vendors, online or local DMV, including SMOG, BIT, CARB, etc.
