Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Asphalt Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across the Pacific Northwest region. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, DOTs, and other public/private sector clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Promote and sell a full range of asphalt products and solutions to municipal clients, paving contractors, civil engineers, and public agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, quotes, and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Stay current on market conditions, bid schedules, and project developments.
- Attend industry trade shows, association meetings, and networking events in the region.
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, logistics, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the asphalt, construction materials, or civil infrastructure industry.
- Proven ability to sell to contractors, municipalities, and government agencies.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt products, paving applications, and construction processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Pacific Northwest territory.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
