Overview:
Liquid Asphalt / Modified Asphalt Company is seeking a Terminal Manager to lead their terminal operations, production and maintenance.
Technical Knowledge:
- 8+ years of Management within a Liquid Asphalt Plant/Terminal
- Strong knowledge of Asphalt terminal operations (Heating, material transfer, inbound rail unloading operations, truck loading, housekeeping)
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices a plus
- Knowledge of PG grading and related testing and asphalt technical specifications a plus
- Knowledge of asphalt emulsions a plus
- Knowledge of pavement preservation and hot/warm mix production a plus
Management Skills
- 5 year track record of successful leading hourly and supervisory employees
- Strong process orientation and ability to motivate, manage, and innovate processes and job design
- Experience with employee onboarding, training, and development
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Engineering degree or certification a plus
- Technical certifications in asphalt pavement, project management and process design a plus
- 5-10 years experience in asphalt terminal operations or equivalent
- 5 years of management experience
