Overview:
Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager to ensure high-quality work on all projects and communicating goals and directions effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to build a high-performance team

- Aggressively focused on delivering high-quality projects
- Have a thorough knowledge of the plans and specifications
- Provide technical support for construction efforts
- Maintain project schedule
- Manage field operations with the General Superintendent and project team to ensure the project is properly executed
- Monitor field progress to ensure that project goals are being met or exceeded
- Attend project meetings
- Efficiently write RFI’s (Request for Information) to project team
- Demonstrate a working knowledge pertaining to the means and methods of construction
- Identify advantages as well as areas of high risk with each project
- Proactively identify potential “problem areas” early in the process and develop strategies with the project team to overcome obstacles
- Manage project change orders
- Monitor submittal approvals and shop drawing process in accordance with the project schedule
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, with a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate coursework specific to civil construction.
- Knowledge of soil stabilization, rock support, etc. is a valuable add
- Strong interpersonal abilities for working in diverse team environments with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficient with HCSS Heavy Bid or B2W software
- Proficient with MS Project or equivalent with experience developing project schedules
- 5+ years of direct experience managing prime DOT and municipal contracts requiring combination of self-perform work and subcontractors
- Viewpoint Vista or equivalent experience required
- Strong Math and English Skills / Excellent written and oral communication skills
