Overview:
Asphalt Company is seeking a Project Manager to manage multiple projects and be tasked with bidding, scheduling, estimating and supervising them from estimating through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction of projects as per bid documents
- Estimate and manage the costs of construction.
- Monitor project progress.
- Read and understand plans and specifications.
- Perform quantity take-offs from plans and field visits.
- Develop and maintain positive relations with internal and external customers.
- Support field personnel during the construction of work.
- Create and send invoices and change orders.
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers during construction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering, construction management, business, or related field
- 5-10 years’ experience as a Project Manager in Roadwork
