Overview:
A Metals Recycling Company seeks an experienced Non-Ferrous Manager to lead a high-volume metals recycling operation in the Northeast. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing a team of 20+ employees processing 6-10M lbs of non-ferrous material per month while maintaining safe, efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily non-ferrous receiving, sorting, processing, and shipping operations.
- Manage and develop operations teams, with clear expectations for safety, productivity, and accountability.
- Oversee material quality, inventory accuracy, and throughput.
- Coordinate equipment needs and maintenance priorities to support reliable production.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, material recovery, and operating performance.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in non-ferrous operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume non-ferrous processing operation
- Strong knowledge of non-ferrous grades, processing methods, and material handling equipment
- Proven team leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on approach and a strong commitment to workplace safety
