Overview:
A leading non-ferrous metals recycling organization is seeking an experienced Regional Branch Manager to provide leadership across multiple operations in the Gulf Coast region. This position will have broad responsibility for financial performance, operations, safety, people leadership, and commercial support while ensuring consistent performance across locations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, business-minded leader who understands industrial operations and can effectively manage both people and performance across multiple facilities. Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction for multiple metals processing operations.
- Manage branch financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, expenses, margins, inventory, and capital investments.
- Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline teams while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive improvements in productivity, operating costs, equipment utilization, quality, inventory control, and customer service.
- Oversee material receiving, processing, storage, and outbound logistics.
- Ensure appropriate staffing, equipment, and resources are available to meet production and customer requirements.
- Champion safety and environmental performance while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
- Partner with commercial teams to coordinate material flow, purchasing requirements, customer commitments, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and other key business partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and overall branch performance.
- Maintain an active presence across assigned facilities and travel regularly between locations.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish required, with professional verbal and written communication skills.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in metals recycling
- 5+ years of direct people-management experience, including leadership of managers and supervisors.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple facilities, departments, or geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, operating costs, and overall business performance.
- Knowledge of industrial safety, environmental compliance, and operational best practices.
- Experience with material handling, processing equipment, inventory, and transportation strongly preferred.
- Experience managing both union and non-union employees is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry and leadership experience will be considered.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
