Overview:
Privately held company in the Southeast seeks a Yard Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of the yard.
Responsibilities:
- Manages Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Yard Production & Staff (12+ Employees)
- Responsible for Scheduling Maintenance Repairs & Downtime
- Inventory Management & Sales Forecasting Responsibility
- Effectively Hires, Trains, Develops & Motivates a Productive Team
- Directs Inbound / Outbound Flows & Loading/Unloading of Materials
- Responsible for Maintaining & Expanding Customer Account Portfolio
Requirements:
- 7+ Years Metals Recycling Yard Operations Experience
- Proven Success Managing Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Yard Operations & Teams
- Knowledgeable in Baling & Torching Operations
- Scale & Heavy Equipment Operation Experience
- Ability to Identify, Price & Grade Scrap Metal Materials
- Hands-on Management Approach Required
