Ready Mix Concrete producer serving the construction industry with a strong focus on safety, quality, and reliable service. We are seeking an experienced Ready Mix Dispatcher to join our team and manage day-to-day fleet dispatching operations in a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary:
The Ready Mix Dispatcher will be responsible for efficiently coordinating daily concrete deliveries, managing 15 to 25 mixers, and ensuring timely service to our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize and react quickly, and proven experience using dispatch technology.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch Ready Mix trucks to meet customer demand, delivery requirements, and production capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, plant personnel, and customers throughout the delivery cycle.
- Monitor truck locations, job statuses, and adjust schedules in real time to maximize delivery efficiency.
- Ensure accurate order entry, ticketing, and job tracking using dispatch software.
- Troubleshoot delivery challenges, site delays, equipment issues, and customer changes.
- Support drivers with job site instructions, safety protocols, and route guidance.
- Maintain relationships with customers by providing excellent service and proactive communication.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting related to fleet utilization, delivery performance, and customer service metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Ready Mix Dispatch experience required.
- Experience handling 15–25 Ready Mix mixers simultaneously.
- Command Alkon / Integra / TrackIt experience preferred (or related dispatch systems).
- Strong knowledge of Ready Mix logistics, truck cycles, concrete delivery requirements, and job site dynamics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make fast, informed decisions in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
