Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Ready Mix Concrete Driver Manager to oversee all company drivers and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery operations. This position is responsible for driver performance, training, discipline, and safety compliance across the fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support all Ready Mix drivers
- Coordinate daily driver assignments and delivery expectations
- Develop and conduct driver training programs (new hires & ongoing)
- Ensure full compliance with DOT, company, and safety regulations
- Monitor driver performance and administer coaching or discipline as needed
- Promote a strong safety culture through inspections, audits, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Dispatch, Maintenance, and Plant Management to optimize delivery efficiency
- Maintain driver files, certifications, and training records
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of Ready Mix or transportation/driver management experience
- Strong understanding of DOT and safety regulations
- Proven leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Ability to handle performance issues professionally and maintain a positive driver culture
