Overview:
A construction-oriented company that produces and distributes ready mix concrete, sand, gravel, and stone is looking for an IT Manager. The IT Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s information technology infrastructure, systems, network, and digital processes to support plant operations, logistics, finance, customer service, and business sustainability and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals
- Implement and maintain ERP systems for tracking production, statistical metrics, and financial results
- Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data and recommending IT-driven solutions
- Oversee IT budget, including hardware, software, and maintenance costs
- Collaborate with users to align technology with operational needs
- Provide technical support for the company’s systems, network, applications and users
- Maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive production, financial, and customer data
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and partners
- Management of a multi-site Wide Area Network
- Management phone system
- Foster a culture of digital literacy and continuous learning
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years in IT Management, preferably in construction, manufacturing or logistics.
- Experience with ERP systems, database management systems, and cloud solutions
- Experience with Networking, Firewalls, and VPN’s
- Ability to travel to remote sites
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Ready-mix concrete industry
- Experience in designing, deploying, and managing AI, Machine Learning (ML), and GenAI solutions
- Experience with IoT or connected equipment in manufacturing Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Servers, Microsoft 365
