Job Description:
A well-established Ready Mix producer in Florida is seeking an experienced and driven Quality Control Manager to oversee all QC operations across 6+ Ready Mix plants. This hands-on leadership role will manage raw material quality, field and laboratory testing, and the development and maintenance of mix designs.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of QC management experience in the Ready Mix concrete industry and a strong understanding of industry standards, testing procedures, and mix optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all quality control efforts across multiple plant locations
- Manage raw material evaluation and approval
- Oversee field and lab testing to ensure product compliance and performance
- Develop, implement, and maintain concrete mix designs for various applications
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to meet customer and project specifications
- Ensure compliance with DOT, ASTM, ACI, and other regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of QC management experience in the Ready Mix Industry
- Deep knowledge of concrete materials, testing protocols, and mix design methodology
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- ACI and/or DOT certifications preferred
